Owner

info:
I have owned Doggywalker.com for 9 years now. I spent my younger years traveling around the world and the United States, and have had the chance to visit 49 countries and 47 states. These days I am happy to stay local, spend time with my family; human, canine, & feline. My wife and I also own a cut-flower business, and we sell at several local farmers markets and local stores. I'm looking forward to the next 9 years of dog walking and pet sitting, and all of the fun and adventures that it is likely to bring.

info:
What a long, strange, trip it’s been. From the country club, to vacuum cleaners, to IRS, to yellow pages, to the nascent PC industry, to business consulting, to roofing to dogs. Each stop along the way has held it’s unique charm and memories. I can’t express how happy I am to be here with Doggywalker.com, our tireless management team, our incredible caregivers, and our wonderful clients. Plus there’s dogs everywhere. Who could ask for anything more?

Kate has been a long-time pet owner and has experience with medical interventions and working with large breeds. Her interests in animal care began in her youth while taking care of her neighbors and friends pets both for daily visits and overnight care. Robbyn

Schedule Manager
close
info:
Having started as a customer of DoggyWalker.com and then a caregiver, Robbyn has gotten to see the business from every angle. As the Schedule Manager, she spends her days matching caregivers with clients and working to make sure client scheduling needs are covered. If you stop by, you’ll get to meet her dog Kaylee, a sweet old lady who will never say no to a game of tug of war and a treat. In their free time, Robbyn and Kaylee enjoy watching their cat, Runt, bypass the baby-proofing Robbyn had to install to keep his curiosity in check.

Keghley

General Manager
close
info:
Keghley re-joined the DoggyWalker.com team in September of 2017 after her original stint as a caregiver and office manager back in 2006-2007. She was raised (mostly) in Burke, VA where there was at least one dog in the house at all times, and therefore she has always had a knack for communicating with them. She spent the last year in Dublin, Ireland getting her Masters in International Peace Studies, which she hopes to incorporate into the dog walking world (or vice versa). Keghley lives with her fur child, Erik, who is an American Dingo mutt rescued from Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. Erik currently serves as the office’s head squirrel hunter and attention seeker.

info:
Brianna grew up an animal lover, thanks to her parents and Steve Irwin, and has never known a day in her life where she hasn’t had a pet to love. She’s cared for a variety of creatures; everything from dogs, horses, and cats to snakes, lizards, and birds. She worked as an orthodontist assistant before moving to Alexandria from her hometown of Virginia Beach in 2016 with her cat Bindi, bearded dragon Drogo, and boyfriend David. Brianna recounts joining the DoggyWalker.com team as one of the best decisions she ever made and now holds a hodge-podge of roles, including events management, training, and office assistant management. When she isn’t working, she enjoys camping, listening to NPR, and watching whatever show she and her boyfriend have become hooked on.
